The OMS LaserScan LS01 Scanning Vibrometer developed by MetroLaser, is based on a patented electro-optical configuration. The system consists of a portable laser sensor head** and an electronic controller. The laser sensor head includes a laser, frequency modulator, photodetector, color CCD camera, and two computer-controlled scanning mirrors.The electronic controller provides both a demodulated velocity output and a 10.7 MHz frequency-modulated signal output. The front panel includes a signal strength indicator, two selectable velocity ranges, and a set of low-pass filter options.A comprehensive software package, including modal analysis, is available. The software registers the user-selected target, controls the mirrors, performs dithering if needed, collects and analyzes data, and displays results as **2D and 3D animations.
The OMS LaserPoint LP01 Vibrometer is based on a patented electro-optical configuration. The system consists of two main components: an optical head and an electronic controller, connected by a cable. The optical head houses a near-infrared laser diode with a built-in high-speed photodetector, an acousto-optic modulator, and a red laser diode for precise beam aiming.The controller includes a demodulator, signal strength indicator, two selectable velocity ranges, and a set of low-pass filter options.

Continuous operation is also possible with the optional AC adapter. Designed for simple stroboscopic stop-motion inspection and RPM measurement applications. The integral laser module is an optional item that can be added to make the 100 a full-featured tachometer. Includes strobe, standard Li-ion battery pack, battery charging station with interchangeable wall plugs, and operation manual. Kit also includes plastic latching carrying case. AC models include 115/230 Vac wall adapter power supply with USA, UK, AUS, Euro adapter plugs, and operation manual instead of battery pack and charging station.
