The Indian walnuts are categorized into 4 categories viz., paper-shelled, thin-shelled, medium-shelled and hard-shelled The total walnut export from India during the year 2007-08 was 6716 MT with a value of Rs. 162 crores. India exports walnut to Spain, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nepal, Indonesia and Singapore
