Determination can be performed performed properly and efficiently in the bright field of view under stable light from built in illuminator.
Dual graduation of refractive index and brix percentage are provided on the internal transparent scale.
The scale is graduated on upper side for the refractive index and the lower side is graduated to read directly the percentage of sugar in solution.
The main prism is always horizontal so that liquid can be placed on the prism and measured conveniently

The glass transparent scale is clearly graduated on the glass plate so that reading can be obtained wisely with fatigue.

The internal optical system is protected from moisture, in addition to protect the internal optical system by the sealed constructions of the interior portion of the instrument, maintain a dry condition of the moisture adsorbent.

Accuracy - For refractive index 0.001 by direct reading on scale & +0.0001 by estimation. For sugar solution 0.05% by direct reading scale & 0.1% by estimation.
