Presto’s Balloon Burst Tester is used to test the 3-sided seal of the flexible packing. Using the pneumatic system to create the pressure inside the packet, the machine checks for any leakage in the seals. The 4th side of the packet is left open to blow-in the pressure. This pressure can be controlled with easy push button. The machine is capable of measuring the peak value of the pressure that a packet can withstand without getting burst. The pressure is applied to the specimen through a steel nozzle. Equipped with a seal strength detector, the machine gives an accurate measurement of the quality of the seal.
The balloon burst tester is designed in compliance with different testing standards issued by relative authorities. It has inbuilt memory to store the reading.
