Description : Produced from sound, mature, selected, hand-harvested, clean white onions free from damage, soil & cuts. Selected fresh onions are peeled, washed, inspected, sliced, air dried, milled, sieved and treated with Ethylene Oxide to produce Standard powder ETO Treated White Onion.

 

Foreign Matters : Product is visually inspected & passed through a series of rare earth magnets & Metal detector prior to Final packing. 

 

Additional Tests : In addition, product can be tested as per specific requirements of the customer. Other tests, specifications, technical details available on request.

 

Pesticide Residue-Heavy Metals, Aflatoxin, GMO & Allergen : Contaminants like Pesticide residues-Heavy Metals and aflatoxin are in conformance with WHO recommendation and E.C.directives. Product is not derived from Genetically modified organism. We have a Allergen Control Policy. Neither we are using any declared allergen in processing, nor we are allowing any allergen in process area. Hence our product is free from all declared allergens.

 

Labelling : Product name, batch code, product code, category, net weight, manufacturing month alongwith storage instructions are printed on the labels affixed to each box. Other information is provided on the boxes time to time.

 

Packing : Packed in PE Bag; heat sealed & placed in corrugated box. Supplied in loose boxes or strapped, stretch-wrapped, loose or palletized, branded or unbranded as per customer’s requirements. Available standard pack sizes : 7, 12, 15 kg per box, 27 boxes per pallet; if palletized. Please ask us for specific packaging requirements. Pack size subject to change. Container is fumigated prior to despatch as per requirement of customer or requirement of importing country’s law.

 

Storage : Store in Cool & Dry place, temp. below 22º C / 72º F & RH below 75% free from the risk of contamination and ingress of moisture. Product should be stored away from direct sunlight.

 

Shelf-Life : Eighteen Months from the month of manufacture under recommended storage conditions. Slight change in the colour may be observed during the storage after few months of storage.

 

Usage / Application : Can be added directly to meat foods without prior rehydration. Can be used as Ingredient for mixed Soups, dry, canned fresh or frozen vegetable mixes, pizza and fast food.

 

Quality Standards : HACCP, GMP, SPC & QA are applied in manufacturing, storage & other operations. Product is approved for Kosher (Pareve) and Halal. Plant is certified for BRC-Global Standard Food (Issue-7); ISO 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001. 

 

FSSAI : Finished Goods meets the requirements of FSSAI except microbial, which are as per customer specification
