AAC Conductor is a concentric lay-stranded conductor consisting of Aluminium Wires EC Grade in both single and multilayer constructions. AAC Conductor provides reliable performance in Overhead Transmission and Distribution Applications. AAC Conductors are used in line designs that do not require the strength of ACSR Type conductors while maximising current carrying capacity. This Conductor is manufactures from electrolytically refined (E.C. Grade) aluminium, having purity of minimum 99.7% of aluminium. This Conductor is used in Urban Areas and the spacing is short and the supports are close. This is also used extensively on Coastal because it has a very high degree of corrosion resistance.
