Embossed surface mount carrier tape provides needed protection to delicate and ESD sensitive components and other devices from physical and electro-static discharge (ESD) damage during shipping and storage. Carrier tape is the preferred medium for presenting components to pick-and-place machines for automatic placement onto circuit boards, and also for safe storage of components.
