Curcumin

Turmeric is a plant native to south India . Its tuberous rhizomes (root like structures) have been used from antiquity as a condiment, as a textile dye, and for medicinal purposes. Curcumin extract is one of the major antioxidant extracts found in the spice turmeric. Through its antioxidant mechanisms, it supports colon health, exert neuroprotective activity and help maintain a healthy cardiovascular system and is used in treatment of cancer.
