Apart from this they are also used for articulation and ball joints, steering linkages, radius arms, angle joints, yokes etc. Anti-Vibration Dampers are used to absorb vertical shocks and in tandem they reduce wear and tear and also noise.The multi directional movement of the vehicle creates comprehensive and tensile stress, which are all taken by these Silent Blocks. The vertical oscillating shocks of the body are taken by the Dampers.
