The poles of isolator includes galvanized steel base, with Silicon rubber insulators, moving and fix contacts (multi finger hard drawn tin or silver plated copper flat), bearing type revolving base, interlocking if required, linkages for turn and twist operation. For providing easy operation of isolator, a gear type operating mechanism is provided and for earth switch operations, for 66kv a bang type operating mechanism is offered with the required auxiliary contacts with electrical and mechanical interlocks and pad locking arrangement. Whole assembly is fixed on M.S. bracket using bimetallic plate.
