Operation Lamellar Decanter is a Solid-Liquid Separator based on Sedimentation process where the entire space in the Clarifier is divided into several integral Sections or Chambers. One side of each blade provides a settling surface. The Untreated inlet stream enters the Lamella and transverses through feed ducts longitudinally along the Lamella Tank. Solids now separated descend a short distance onto the setting surface formed by numerous blades & continue to slide down to Collection hopper. Clarified water is collected all across the Decanter Section through perforated double wail pipes. Water level is maintained through external Adjustable Weir.
