Laser Protective Windows

Optical Windows are optical glass with polished faces that are relatively parallel. They are used to protect laser output. Always windows are AR coated to eliminate reflection, so AR coated windows offer improved transmission when used in industrial displays or computer monitors. Their high transmission makes them ideal for most industrial and laser protecting applications.

Borosilicate optical windows are ideal for high temperature, harsh environment applications. Unlike common borosilicate that is drawn flat, BOROFLOAT™ material is produced by a float technique that yields superior surface accuracy—typically 4-6 waves per inch. The resulting minimal wavefront distortion, combined with wide spectral transmission characteristics, make BOROFLOAT™ an excellent choice for optical windows. In addition, this material exhibits excellent thermal properties and chemical resistance. BOROFLOAT™ is about three times more resistant to thermal shock than standard soda lime glass. It has the thermal expansion properties of Tempax® or Pyrex® without the straw yellow color. Chemical resistance includes water, saline solutions, neutral and acidic solutions, chlorine, bromine, iodine, and organic substances. Sizes From 10mm to 250mm in thickness of 1mm to 8mm 

Fused Silica Windows:
These optical windows are precision manufactured using UV-grade synthetic fused silica. In addition to superior transmission characteristics, synthetic fused silica exhibits higher thermal properties, exceptional purity, and excellent environmental durability for demanding applications. Optical Flats: 
Optical Flats are used as a reference (test plate) against which the flatness of an unknown surface may be compared.. The secondary surfaces of our single surface flats are pitch polished to window quality for viewing the interference pattern. Each flat is serialized and includes a certificate of calibration and durable storage case. Optical Flats can be supplied with both side flatness. We can supply surface flatness upto lambda/10 and Size upto 150mm . Material : Fused Silica or any specific material
