Pomegranates

The Pomegranate fruit is a native of the Mediterranean region and have been growing there for thousands of years. The fruit is in pink color to bright red color and the estimated size is that of a softball. The fruit has translucent, red and small juicy seeds which are edible. The shell of the fruit is hard and the edible seeds have a sweet or bitter-sweet taste.
