Separable Connectors

A Separable Connector, also referred to as a Plug-in is a separable cable termination - designed for opening and closing only when a circuit is de-energized. Neither voltage nor current can be present when this type of Separable Connector is opened or closed. • Inner semi-conductive screen - Silicone screen controls electrical stress around connecting devices.
• Outer semi-conductive layer - this painted / molded layer that is connected to ground, guarantees safety to personnel, minimum distance among phases and to ground, and ensures protection in the event of accidental contact.
