It is suitable for testing generators, HV motors, power capacitors, transformers, cables, and lightening arresters. It is also ideal for site test in EHV substation. Its short circuit current is greater than 5 m A and offers automatic discharge after the test is over. Transformer Insulation Resistance Tester has internal rechargeable battery and charger for heavy duty operations.
