INTRODUCTION
Blood Collection Monitor is a newly introduced technique among blood bank products and is helpful for collection of blood. It is a compact instrument which provides smooth and gentle rocking of homogeneous mixing with anticoagulant, i.e without clot formation of blood cells while accumulating the blood from a donor.
The Electronic Blood Collection Monitor (BCM) has specific standard volumes which are easy to change. It has the provision of pausing of the collection and changes the programmed volume during paused session. It is a micro regulator based program and its volume can be accustomed from 1ml to 999 ml, as per requirement of the pathologist.
Ramedico manufactured Blood Collector Monitor is fully automatic microprocessor based device that provides efficient mixing of blood with 10-12 cycles per minute. Analog dissolution of Blood Collection when blood collection volume ranges a stated value. An LCD monitor displays the volume of blood collected along with the time taken for the same process. The clamp of Ramedicos Blood Collection Monitor can operate automatically or even manually when decided volume of blood is collected. The battery back-up of the BCM is 4 to 20 hours depending upon the requirements with very compact model.
