This unit is engineered to monitor the status of the Analog Liner Heat Sensing (LHS) cable and communicate the same to the panel. It is powered by the Signalling Line Circuit from the panel and is brought to connection with the Analog LHS cable for monitoring. Apart from monitoring the temperature status of the LHSC, it also reports breakage by using end of line resistor.
