Ductility Testing Machine

Used for determining the ductility of asphalted bitumen and fluxed native asphalt cutback bitumen and blown type bitumen. Ductility is defined as distance in centimeter to which a standard briquette of bitumen can be stretched before the thread breaks. The briquette is stretched at a rate of 50 mm / min ± 2.5 mm / min at a temperature of 27º C ± 0.5º C.
