The Vibrating Rod Level Switch is aneconomical choice in level detection of powdersand bulk solids. The Vibrating Rod LevelSwitch built with a piezoelectric crystals thatvibrates the rod at a natural frequency. Once therod comes in contact with the material, thevibration will be damped and the switch willchange its state. Once the rod is uncovered bythe material, the switch will revert to its normalstate. Best for silo or hopper applications, itsprobe design allows for self-cleaning, ensuringno build-up or bridging of material andaccurate detection. Sensitivity is adjustable fordetection ranging from large granular materialto small powders with low bulk densities.
