Extruded aluminium square ceiling step down diffuser with four way throw, and stamped aluminium core assembled in incremental steps which is spring loaded and removable. Different construction available for flush type and tegular ceilings. Collar damper available as accessory for supply air. Step Down is designed for high cfm requirements. The frame and blades are of high quality extruded aluminium profiled construction with the advantages of corrosion resistance and rigidity. Diffusers shall be coned type and stepped down incrementally, with each cone manufactured by extruded aluminium louvered profiles or one piece die formed aluminium sheet construction – arranged in concentric cones to deflect air equally in four directions. The cones are arranged in incremental steps facing downwards to maximize the volume (cfm) of airflow while maintaining the flow directions. Louvered type core is fixed to the frame with aluminium pins loaded with steel springs. Core can be easily removable and interchangeable to allow for maximum flexibility in installation, maintenance and damper adjustment. Damper is fixed rigidly to the frame by aluminium rivets. Fixing by spring clips as option. Opposed blade damper is lever operated from the face opening of the diffuser after removing the internal core. Damper blades are separated from its frame by nylon bushes. Discharge air equally in four horizontal directions. Suitable for flush mounting in lay in type ceiling.
