The KDS-311 from Komoline Aerospace Limited is a smart conductivity-and-temperature transmitter with digital communication capability for use in marine environment and applications. They can be also be used in very-high salinity ground or surface water applications. The KDS Series sensors are developed indigenously using the state of the art technology and built to exacting specifications. They offer stable, accurate and reliable performance over long periods of time in the tropical conditions of environment.

The sensing of conductivity in this device is based on electromagnetic measurement. The medium interface is SS316L / PVDF / Acetal / Titanium. The measurement front end uses fouling resistant precision sensors of very good long-term stability. The sensor has a captive microprocessor and computes complex polynomials and uses proprietary algorithms developed for accurate reporting of the parameter value measured. The internal math engine allows the computation of derived parameters by polynomial or custom models or by a piece-wise linear model of up to 64k points.
