Our product range contains a wide range of Quick Lime Lumps
Quick Lime Powder finds application for basic oxygen steelmaking process where carbon rich molten pig-iron is made to steel. It is known to have ability to improve load carrying capacity of soils containing clay. This powder also serves as main ingredient in cement production. It has chemical formula CaO with molar mass of 56.0774 g/mol and extremely high boiling point of 2, 850 degrees Celsius. In pulp & paper mills, Quick Lime Powder is required during chemical recovery for regeneration of NaOH from sodium carbonate. It is soluble in water and produces calcium hydroxide when dissolved.
