Also known as phosphorite, it is known to assure healthy growth of plants including vegetables & flowers. This compound also finds application in metallurgy and anti-corrosion formulations. Rock Phosphate is also required in pharmaceuticals and chemical industry for making different grades of reagents. It has dark brown colored granular appearance that is processed by different steps including washing, screening, de-liming, and magnetic separation.
