Chana Jor Garam is a mouthwatering Indian traditional snack made out of black gram. These nuts and legumes, roasted and spiced, serve as healthy, low fat but tasty snacks. These help to provide energy boost between meals. Some individuals prefer to consume chana jor throughout the day rather than consuming 3 large meals. Extremely small amounts (2 tablespoons) can provide high calories. The chana has to be soaked, dried, fried and then later flattened into these mini nutritious discs.
