Prior to beginning in 2016, we did our research around food item and we discovered that Honey; Oils and Dairy items are the most corrupted things on the planet. This very realization was the inspiration driving the initiation of Uttaransh. In a market that is overflowed with adulterated food items, we chose to enter the field with quality items. We needed to give our citizens a choice/an option that was unadulterated and gave them genuine worth to their money. We consider the customer to be as one of our family whom we don't wish to see getting cheated with a compromised product. Subsequently, this concern keeps us on our toes and imparts in us the energy to push forward at an aggresive speed. People in India just know ‘Honey’. So, at Uttaransh, we launched eight variants of floral honey, each with a distinct texture, taste and aroma. The logic simply was to pass on this awareness that the properties of honey vary based on the flower it is cultivated from. From the very beginning, we began identifying the source flower of honey, the geography it was cultivated from, to impart transparency to proceedings. Today, we manage close to 2500 beehives with a profound passion for bees, wild forests, and the honey that they produce. Managing our own hives allows us to ensure that there is no scope for adulteration & our bees only collect nectar from areas that are free of unpleasant agricultural and industrial activities. Over time, we have also been successful in building a network of 16 beekeepers who are providing us, honey, from different flowers, each with its own distinct taste, color, aroma, and therapeutic properties. All thoughts at Uttaransh are centered around an approach that seeks to create spaces that will allow all life to unfold as naturally as possible. All of our offerings are in a state of harmony with the compelling force of Nature and have been procured abiding by its laws.

Myself Rashmi Bhargava a science graduate from Allahabad University and a diploma holder in Hotel Management. I live in a small village Multai, Dist: Betul in M.P. where people do farming using pesticides and chemical manure and we have to get these poisonous food for our family as there was no other options.

I come from a place called Pathrota situated in rich agriculture belt of Hoshangabad district of M.P. We come under top districts in horticulture and cash crops, but as usual the market linkage and moreover the need estimation linked to production is something which is a amiss and based on hit" and try. Also post harvest management is generally dependent on govt. initiatives. I see this initiative playing a crucial role of bridging this gap, also we are going to be a friend and business partner for solar drying of many fruits, vegetables, herbs etc which otherwise is being wasted. Such initiative which can aggregate demands and link it with customer need can help India becoming a global leader and also enhancing efficiency in pre and post harvest processes.
