Product Description

  • Priyal Propack’s  Roll Compactor is a dry granulation machine used in the pharmaceutical industry to convert fine powders into uniform, compacted granules without the use of liquid binders or solvents. This process is ideal for moisture- or heat-sensitive materials, ensuring product integrity while enhancing flowability, compressibility, and uniformity in tablet production.

 

Key Information:

  • Production Capacity (kg/hr): Estimated based on material bulk density of 0.5-0.75 g/cm³ and compressibility. Actual output depends on material properties (e.g., particle size, moisture content).
  • Roll RPM Range: Adjustable via variable frequency drive (VFD) for precise control of compaction pressure and granule size.
  • Feed Screw Motor Power (HP): Drives the feed screw to ensure uniform material flow to the rolls; typically, 3-phase, 440V, 50 Hz.
  • Roll Drive Motor Power (HP): Powers the compaction rolls; flame-proof motor options available for safety.
  • Material of Construction: GMP-compliant, with SS 316L for contact parts and SS 304 for non-contact parts.

Operational Features:

  • Compaction Pressure: Adjustable hydraulic system (4-12 tons) for consistent granule density.
  • Roll Cooling: Water-cooled rolls to manage heat generation during compaction.
  • Granulation: Integrated granulator with 1-4 mm mesh for uniform granule sizing.
