mango pulp process:
matured mangoes are plucked and graded and sent for crushing and destoning. The skin and seed are removed and the pulp is heated at an ambient temperature. The pulp is next passed through the decanter for removal of black specks and brown specks and is boiled at a temperature of ninety five degrees celsius.
The mango pulp is then pumped to the packing section where it packed in ots cans and retracting is done by immersing in boiling bath for twenty minutes and cooling immediately. Standard packing is 3.1 kg containers of pulp for the overseas markets and 5.2 kg for the domestic market.
