A Pharma Diaphragm Valve is a specialized sanitary valve designed to regulate and isolate flow in high-purity and sterile processing applications. It uses a flexible elastomer diaphragm that is compressed against a weir or straight-through body to control the flow path, ensuring a completely leak-tight seal and eliminating areas where contaminants or bacteria could accumulate. With a smooth, crevice-free internal surface and drainable design, diaphragm valves are ideal for clean-in-place (CIP) and sterilize-in-place (SIP) operations.
Manufactured from SS316L stainless steel or other high-performance alloys with EPDM, PTFE or silicone diaphragms, they are widely used in pharmaceutical, biotech, cosmetic, and food processing systems that require sterile, hygienic, and aseptic operation.
