Its body is of carbon steel and stainless steel and heat exchanger plates are made of AISI 316. Total water volume is 1.9 liters and Plate Heat Exchanger will come with SS installation kit.     • DescriptionGEA Varitherm VT-20 Plate Heat Exchanger is made of several Varitherm-design stainless steel plates that are combined to form one effective heat transfer unit. Within each plate package the heat exchanger plates support each other at the metal-on-metal profile cross points, to ensure the stable behavior of the plate gap. The plate gasket has so called glue less sealing system. VT-20 is specially designed for cooling and heating of fluids with particle content up to a particle size of 2 mm as well as condensation of vapors, gas cooling and gas dehumidifying. This unit is in good operational condition.

The equipment is designed to operate with products containing up to 30 mm particles in various heating, cooling, chilling and sterilizing processes within dairy, food and other industries. All product touching parts are made of stainless steel EN 1.4404 (AISI 316L) or food quality plastics PEEK. Main structure is made of stainless steel EN 1.4304 (AISI 304). Heating cooling media can be steam, hot water, cold water of chilled glycol-water solution. The scraper blades (PEEK) are fitted to the pins on dasher and can be changed if needed. The unit has a support brackets on which the cylinder can be fixed temporarily up position for inspection and service. This unit has been operated very limited time and is thus in first class condition. It has CE marking with certificate and original documentation.
