Goat milk powder is obtained after evaporation and spray drying of full cream goat milk.
If the full cream goat milk is skimmed first and thereafter is dried, skimmed goat milk powder is produced.
After adding water to the powder, goat milk is made again with only a neutral in taste.

Powdered milk, also called dried milk, or milk powder, is a manufactured dairy product made by evaporating milk to dryness.
One purpose of drying milk is to preserve it; milk powder has a far longer shelf life than liquid milk and does not need to be refrigerated, due to its low moisture content.
Dry whole milk must contain between 26% and 40% milkfat (by weight) on an as is'' basis and not more than 5.0% moisture (by weight) on a milk-solids-notfat (MSNF) basis.
Whole milk powder can contain between 26% and 42% milkfat and the protein level can be adjusted to a minimum of 34% in MSNF.
