Offline Leak Check-In Vacuum Chamber Machine How does it work?

Harikrushna Machines Pvt. Ltd. (HMPL) provides an Offline Leak Check In Vacuum Chamber Machine designed for 1 ml to 3 ml Respules & 5 ml, 10 ml, 15 ml, 20 ml WFIs (Water for Injection) for SVP (Small Volume Parenterals). The offline leak check begins by placing Respules and WFIs (water for injection) into the machine vacuum chamber. Once sealed, the machine creates a vacuum by removing air, simulating pressure conditions that could cause leaks. During the vacuum phase, the machine detects leaks in the Respules and WFIs by monitoring the chamber pressure. If the pressure rises or fails to stabilize, it signals that air is entering the chamber due to a leak in one or more containers.After the detection cycle, the machine releases the vacuum, and the chamber returns to atmospheric pressure. The machine inspects the Respules and WFIs, identifies leaks, and separates them from the batch by the operator. Non-leaking containers continue through the production process. This method ensures that only intact, leak-free products are delivered, upholding the safety and quality standards essential in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Operations

The WFI Respules/Cassettes are manually loaded on the trays.
Loaded trays are then kept in the vacuum chamber in rows.
The lid is pressed & closed with specially designed hinges.
The control panel is set to ON mode.
The vacuum pump is then started.
The vacuum is set to 600 mm/Hg & the timer is settable.
The limit switch gets activated & the tilting of the chamber takes place by means of a sensor.
The tilting is completed at 180 degrees.
As per the set time, the vacuum chamber again rotates & comes to the home position.
The vacuum inside the chamber slowly gets reduced.
The lid is opened to check the WFI Respules/Cassettes.
The faulty, damaged or leaked WFI Respules/Cassettes are removed from the tray.
The OK WFI Respules/Cassettes are collected & conveyed for the process.
