Cooling Column Type 3 Technical Description The 4 additional cooling columns available as accessories to the WL 320 Water Cooling Tower differ in the varying magnitude of the packing density and the related varying cooling performance. The Cooling Column, Type 3 has a large cooling capacity.
Acrylic Cooling Tower Oil Refineries and Petrochemical plants use water to cool down the high temperatures that are generated by the particular process they use. This model is made of acrylic to allow full view of the water flow through the tower. This table top working model has an induction fan, circulation pump and tank.
Water Cooling Tower Technical Description Cooling towers are a special type of counterflow heat exchanger. Warm water is sprayed from the top down through the column while airflows up through the column. Cooling is predominantly due to the evaporation of the water. The amount of water evaporated is measured. A fan supplies a variable cooling airflow. All important process parameters including the water flow rate are measured electronically and displayed. The measured values can be transferred to a PC for analysis and further processing. A data acquisition card and software are included. Four further cooling columns are available as accessories.
