Our Product / Services
Our product range contains a wide range of Analytical Process Control System, Training System Speed Control and Heat Exchanger Process Control System
The Analytical Process Control System demonstrates the control of the quality of industrial process water and waste water. It combines chemical procedures with applied basic principles of control engineering. The mobile laboratory unit is dimensioned in a way to allow experiments, without neglecting the characteristics of industrial plants. Neutral water is mixed with diluted sodium hydroxide, the resulting ion load is measured. The addition of diluted sulphuric acid neutralises the solution. Controlled aeration changes the oxygen content. Another experiment controls the redox potential of water using a diluted iodine solution. All processes are equipped with extensive instrumentation and are controlled by industrial controllers. Transparent reaction tanks enable the processes to be observed.
Training System Speed Control Technical Description This compact teaching / training unit offers every opportunity to learn the fundamentals of process control through experimentation on a speed control system. The experimentation set-up is mounted on a solid housing which accommodates all the electronics. A transparent protective cover permits safe observation of the experiments. A DC motor drives a shaft with a mass flywheel. The dial gauge allows the speed to be read off directly at any time. The speed is measured inductivelyusing a speed transducer. The output signal from the transducer is sent to the software controller. Theoutput signal from the controllerinfluences the motor current. A generator acting as amechanical resistance to shaft rotationcan be activated by the software to study the influence of disturbance variables. The powerful state-of-the-art software is an integral part of the training system, embodying the principle of hardware/software integration (HSI). It enables the experiments to be conducted and evaluated in a user-friendly manner. The software has network capability. The link between the practice system and the PC is made via a USB port. Clearly structured and comprehensive instructional material sets out the fundamentals and provides a step-by-step guide through the experiments.
Technical Description This laboratory test stand is used to explain the basic terminology of control engineering based on the practical example of a heat transfer process. It comprises a complete system that is fitted with components commonly used in industry. Water is heated in a collector tank with an immersed heater and pumped in a circuit through a heat exchanger. The second circuit is operated by a circulating pump. Heat can be dissipated from this circuit by a cooler with an electrical fan. The universal controller actuates a pneumatic flow control valve in the heater circuit. It can be set to all common configurations. In addition, it is also possible to use the controller as a cascade control system controller. Software for the process visualisation Profibus card are available as an accessory.
